Rathausplatz, with an ice rink next to it 2️⃣ Budapest, 13 Nov to 31 Dec. Vörösmarty tér, plus the Basilica market a few blocks away 3️⃣ Colmar, 23 Nov to 29 Dec. Spread over about six squares, with choirs singing from boats on the canal 4️⃣ Strasbourg, 27 Nov to 24 Dec. France's oldest, running since 1570 5️⃣ Nuremberg, 27 Nov to 24 Dec. Closes at 14:00 on Christmas Eve 6️⃣ Prague, 28 Nov to 6 Jan. Old Town Square, free to enter 7️⃣ Zagreb, 28 Nov to 7 Jan. About 25 sites across the centre Hotels near Strasbourg's market sell out by early November, so book the room first. Most of these finish before Christmas Day, which catches people out every year.
